The blossom is painted in pinks, magenta, red and white, with greens to suggest leaves, and highlights of iridescent paint which change from white to pale pastel blue, lilac, green and pink depending on the light.
The ground beneath the trees has sprinklings of blue and yellow, to suggest bluebells and wood anemones.
The painting continues around the edges of the canvas, and it is strung with cord and ready to hang unframed. It is finished with a light varnish to enhance the textures.
