The largest scale collaged figure I have painted so far. An original collaged life drawing, created from ripped paper while drawing from the model and then embellished later with acrylic paint and finished with varnish. This piece is full of detail, and stories can be woven from the different collage papers I’ve used.
The background of this piece is a distressed cream paint over very dark navy.
The canvas is 101×127cm and 1.5cm deep. The edges are neatly painted black and it is framed in a black tray frame, measuring 105×131cm in total
